About the Institute - IIMDR

It gives me great pleasure to introduce  the International Institute for Multidisciplinary & Development Research (IIMDR). We are a global research-driven organization dedicated to advancing knowledge, innovation, and evidence-based solutions to global development challenges. The Institute brings together researchers, academics, industry professionals, policymakers, and development practitioners across multiple disciplines to foster impactful research and transformative innovation. IIMDR operates as a collaborative platform that bridges theory and practice, promoting research outputs that influence policy, improve livelihoods, and support sustainable development at local, regional, and international levels.

​The Institute's focus is to employ and engage the platform of multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and cross-border initiatives to propel its members to develop proactive and pragmatic ways of addressing human capital, infrastructural and socio-economic development challenges.  We will pursue the global development goals through the instrument of our interactions via the clustering of brilliant minds into membership of the institute and in our forums such as conferences, grant and proposal seeking workshops as well as through research publications in Journals and the eventual establishment of a Diploma/Degree awarding Multidisciplinary Institute - Africa (MIT-Africa).
